The betterback is a cool, casual tool to fix posture while sitting, but I think the straps could be more secure or that the product could have straps that fix to the chair instead.
This posture corrector is a clever design. The straps are super easy to adjust. I can get a snug fit without any pinching or discomfort. The foam padding is also comfortable, doesn't press into my back or hurt my knees at all. It really helps keeping my back straight with just the right amount of tension, not too tight, but enough to remind me to sit properly. I've been using it for short sessions throughout the day and my posture has definitely improved. So far, I like it.

I bought this years ago when I saw it on Shark Tank and loved it. I don't remember the circumstances, but it ended up buried in my closet. Purchased for my Mom, who at 94 remains very active, however, chronic back pain has become complicated to treat and limiting her quality of life at times. She loves ‘BetterBack’ started off 15mins per day to assure it would not create discomfort and now, she uses it through out the day to relieve pressure and relax her back for a bit, she’s very pleased. Gives me great support. I m n a wheelchair most of the day and I experience terrible pain in my lumbar and lower back from severe scoliosis. It is so bad that I use 2 at a time. This way , I have support to my lumbar and lower spine areas. They support me so well that I finally become pain free.

The bands are not set up correctly so difficult to use.

I have bad knees already and it feels fine for first couple minutes in the back but my knees hurt. I’m not going to be able to keep this and I’m so disappointed. How can I send this back. Thank you and it’s a great product just not for my knees.

not bad for everyone but for me, the position does not work - I would return but can't find the paper that came with it
I just tried it out for the first time today. I have to say that I think I’m going to love it because it felt really good actually. By the end of 15 minutes. It was starting to ache a bit, but it felt so good sitting up so straight I am very hopeful that this is going to help me. Fingers crossed!

I can feel the relief in my lower back as soon as I put it on! My posture changes and I automatically sit up straighter. Those changes are having a positive effect by eliminating the pain I would gradually get in my mid-back and neck. This has been a great purchase <3
Yes, I am more mindful of helpful and unhelpful positions, and my back hurts less. It doesn't hurt at all while I am using the support.
